Donate Gently Used and New Household Items to our Heart to Home
Warehouse in Santa Ana
The USRAP Reception & Placement program requires resettlement agencies to provide
newly arrived refugee families with safe housing, food, and household essentials. These
include new mattresses and pillows, bedding, kitchen supplies, a kitchen chair and
tables, a sofa or culturally-appropriate alternative, and car seats and baby supplies if
needed. These necessary items provide newcomers the opportunity to get a good night’s
sleep, eat well, and feel safe from their first day of arrival. Your donations help refugees to make their new house a home so they can start resettle and acclimate with dignity.
When donating your gently used and washed items, please consider if they are
something you would give to a good friend or neighbor. We do not have the means to
wash or mend items.
